Situation tactique

Si ça vous tente, je vous propose de revoir les roles et la phraseo en ACM (2vs1) et de mettre en pratique sur du High Aspect ACM (Utilisation Bracket)


==========ROLES===========

Roles: Engaged vs Free/Supporting

Engaged fighter responsibilities:
 + achieve a kill as quickly as possible
 + describe the engagement, esp. posture (defensive, neutral, offensive)
 + ask for role exchange if needed
 + authorize the role exchange

Free fighter responsibilities :
 + maintain Situational Awareness by
    - maintaining visual and tally
    - sanitizing the area (visually and electronically if possible)
    - monitoring threats reported by AWACS or allied flights
    - considering appropriate egress direction
 + maneuver in a cover position of advantage over the bandit
 + ensure deconfliction with the engaged fighter
 + be ready to engage the bandit if asked by the engaged fighter
 + ask for role exchange if a quicker kill can be achieved
 + describe the fight (esp. bandit overshoots, breaks or switches that the engaged fighter may not recognize immediately)
 + direct the egress (after the kill or separate)


Engaged fighter

Engaged fighter role is relatively simple. Fight as in 1v1 BFM, and do NOT restrain yourself ; the goal is killing the bandit as quicky as possible. However, hazardous maneuvers (such as scissors) should be avoided if they can be switched for a role exchange.

At the merge, describe the fight, including posture (offensive, neutral, defensive), bandit type (if known), altitude and maneuver. If one-circle fight or two-circle fight is recognized, call it on the radio.

Supporting fighter

In Double Attack doctrine, the free fighter has the most difficult task, as he has a lot of responsabilities, and must divide his time between maintaining Situational Awareness, and maneuvering in relation to the fight.

==========Loose Deuce vs Double Attack===========

Loose Deuce is similar to Double attack, with the following differences:
- the free fighter is also tasked to kill the ennemy ; he maneuvers to reach an firing position (ensuring deconfliction) and makes attack passes on the bandit, while the engaged fighter stays engaged
- the engaged fighter does not have to make the kill, but can facilitate the free fighter's kill by manipulating the bandit's maneuvering.

- in Double Attack, ENTRY will be used by the free fighter to request role exchange, if he is in a better position to take over the role. Response is CLEARED IN or NEGATIVE.
- in Loose Deuce, HOUND DOG will be used by the free fighter to request an attack pass. Response is CLEARED IN or NEGATIVE.

FREE / SUPPORTING

SWITCH Bandit has changed his target
EGRESS Turn to indicated heading to separate from the fight and regain mutual support
HIGH COVER Free fighter in high cover position
LOW COVER Free fighter in low cover position
ENTRY Free fighter requests role exchange
HOUND DOG Free fighter requests shot of opportunity
CLEARED IN Call by the engaged fighter to authorize role exchange or action (ENTRY, HOUND DOG)
NEGATIVE Call by the engaged fighter to deny role exchange or action (ENTRY, HOUND DOG)
PRESS Continue maneuvering, free fighter is visual (mutual support is maintained)
SWAP IT Request from engaged fighter to reverse roles
UNABLE Unable to comply (eg. as a response from the free fighter to SWAP IT)


==========MISSION===========

Mission sur Nevada avec 4 zones de CAP (WPT 1 à 4), un Bulls (WPT 5 ou HA) et Nellis AFB (WPT 6 ou type landing)
Départ Airstart en 0/0/4
Spawn ENI à environ 20 NM via menu F10 sur les différentes zones (Hostiles en 0/0/4 également).

Note: personne n'a de Fox2 HOB (AIM 9M/Magic 2 pour les Blue, R60 pour les Red)
